Account Executive - Full-time or Part-time

Banner Express is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive sales of custom large format digital printing and graphics design to corporate accounts in Silicon Valley and greater Bay Area.  Our reputation for unparalleled service and delivery time-frames have met needs of many Fortune 500 companies to their satisfaction.  This is a full-time or a part-time position for a qualified sales representative with extensive local contacts that are decision makers for large format printing products and services.
 


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing new corporate customers for Banner Express and generating new business from existing customers
  • Experience in lead and account qualification to focus on sales generating opportunities
  • Understanding of buying motions for large format printing products in corporate accounts
  • Developing a set of marquee corporate accounts with a potential for repeat business
  • Expanding sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
  • Creating and delivering job estimates in a timely manner
  • Ability to meet sales performance goals that includes cold calling, following up on leads in a timely manner, presenting products and services to prospects, and adding new customers
  • Maintaining sales activity reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

Production Operator - Full-time or Part-time

Banner Express is seeking a Production Operator to produce custom large format digital print jobs.  Our reputation for unparalleled service and delivery time-frames have met the needs of many start-ups as well as established public companies to their satisfaction.  This is a full-time or a part-time position for a qualified Production Operator that can multitask and has the willingness to leverage existing skill set or to learn new craft.

Job Description:

  • Perform all aspects of Large format Printing - vinyl cutting/weeding, banner and other large format print production and finishing, laminating, substrate mounting, trimming, attaching grommets, etc.
  • Maintain a high level of product quality and craftsmanship.
  • Help walk-in customers' with their questions and assist them in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Help customers that come to pick up their orders.
  • Prepare order for shipping - includes creating shipping label, packing the products and making sure that they are picked up at the scheduled time.
Job requirements:
  • Experience in sign design, print production and finishing is preferred.
  • Overall understanding of the digital printing process and sign making materials/substrates is desirable.
  • Candidate must have good knowledge of basic computer tasks.
  • Experience in operating vinyl cutters/plotters, large format printers, and laminators is a plus.
  • Mask, weed and apply vinyl to various substrates, windows and vehicles.
  • Able to load media, inks and generate quality prints from large format digital printer.
  • Able to install printed graphics on various hardware.
  • Able to laminate, trim and mount prints to various substrates.
  • Knowledge of Pantone and Spot colors and creating custom profiles a definite plus.

  • Ability to interface with customers professionally is required.
  • Be able to assist in operating and managing the showroom as and when needed.
